My reaction to “I EAT really well, BUT...” Everything before the BUT is bulls%*t! 📝 As a coach I require a weekly check in sheet, which involves tracking food amongst other things 👩🏼‍💼”I’ve been FOLLOWING the program and I typically EAT the same thing everyday so I don’t think I should record it... I don’t think the PROGRAM is working” 🚨What she THOUGHT it looked like... ➖6AM: Coffee ➖9AM: Protein Bar ➖1PM: Chicken Salad ➖5PM: Fruit ➖7PM: Chicken + Spinach 🚨What it REALLY looked LIKE: ➖6AM: Latte ➖9AM: Cliff Bar + Another latte + Egg Bite from Starbucks ➖1PM: Panera Salad with Chicken ➖3PM: 2 Dove Chocolates + handful of nuts ➖5PM: Chicken and Spinach ➖9PM: 3 glasses of wine... ended up in the snack cabinet ☝🏻OWN your behavior. It’s not your coach or the program that’s NOT working. As coaches we KNOW. We know when you are not accurately reporting ☝🏻Don’t report false information with your coach. The devil is in the details. We can only adjust what is reported and help strategize how to overcome obstacles. 👀 We struggle at OWNERSHIP as a society. Nobody wants to look at themselves in the MIRROR and accept RESPONSIBILITY ☝🏻You hire a COACH for accountability and feedback. Don’t expect the results you want for work you didn’t DO. ❗️Be PATIENT. You are not going to MASTER this overnight. You weren’t coming into the gym 5x a week so when we recommend you with 3x and you prove yourself we can revisit doing 5x
