After a decade of doing this work with clients, I’ve discovered “eating when you’re bored” is often a surface level issue You need to look DEEPER to understand your eating behaviors by asking yourself a few questions:

-Are you currently stressed personally, professionally, financially, etc? -Do you need more rest, play, time for yourself, laughter, something to look forward to? -How is your current sleep situation? Are you getting enough rest? -Are you avoiding something? A difficult or unpleasant task? A tough conversation? Feelings of overwhelm? Feelings you don’t want to feel? ⠀ -Are you actually hungry?

-Was the last time you ate a meal or snack hours ago? Did you eat a snack and you needed a meal? Stop feeling ashamed of leaning on food to cope with life. When it comes to going deeper with food, consider working with a coach that understands eating concerns. There might be some really significant reasons you’re feeling unbalanced with food and life.
